Take it from someone who uses a lot of pottery...these pieces will be around for your grandchildren. Fired clay is naturally durable and easy to maintain. My pots don't mind the heat. All of these were fired to 2167 degrees Farenheit. They love the oven (reminds them of home).
My goal when making pottery is to create a piece you will use every day. I want my customers to use this pottery so much that they wear it out (if that is even possible) ......
Store your fresh butter in the top portion of this dish, fill the bottom with a little water to keep your butter fresh while on your counter.
Some of the pieces I make include:
cake stands
double, triple and quad servers
place settings
woven extruded baskets
chip & dip bowls
toothbrush holders
round baker with textured handles
round platters with textured handles
pitchers
lidded canisters
batter bowls
french butter dishes
face jugs & mugs
colanders
Prices for my pots range from $5 for a toothpick holder to $60 for a large lidded casserole dish or large basket.
FUTURE PLANS
Currently, my pots are for sale at our festival booth, at our home or through contacting us. As for now, I want this site to just give a overall representation of my work.
